(...) “Letters from Beirut” a cura delle designers Tara e Tessa Sakhi, in esposizione fino al 21 Novembre nei Giardini della Marinaressa a Venezia, è un'opera cha accende numerose sfumature del cuore, che cerca di sublimare, di raccontare e di aiutare un paese, il Libano, attraverso la cura, l'empatia, il dialogo, la solidarietà, il sentire che attraverso lo scambio umano, sincero non c'è nulla che non si possa superare. In a poetics that transcends existential boundaries, over the centuries art has increasingly acquired the ability to make different forms of expression coexist in order to narrate contents that can involve people in an experience in which there are no barriers, in which the universality of human creativity can bring cultures, thoughts, emotions, visions, lives closer together. Ero immensamente libera. Era come se grandi gocce di pioggia tiepida colpissero la mia pelle con una violenza tale da farmi quasi male. Mi pareva di divertirmi felice, lanciando gridolini di gioia come una bimba, lavata da un acquazzone così forte da non poter aprire gli occhi. Non avevo mai conosciuto prima una tale libertà. Dovunque andassi, anche lontano, le mie radici si erano allargate fin lì. Ero sempre stata dov'ero, e non avevo bisogno di andare altrove. Non c'era niente che non potessi fare.Non c'era niente che dovessi fare.Non mancavo di nulla. Mi bastava esistere per soddisfare qualsiasi aspetto al cento per cento. (“Ogni giorno è un buon giorno. It seemed to me that I was enjoying myself happily, letting out little cries of joy like a child, washed by a shower so strong that I couldn't open my eyes. I had never known such freedom before. Wherever I went, even far away, my roots had spread out there. Artista e illustratrice, dopo essersi laureata all’Istituto Europeo di Design, Margherita Paoletti ha frequentato corsi alla Central Saint Martins e BTK di Berlino per poi spiccare il volo ed esporre le sue opere in tutto il mondo: da San Francisco a Bruxelles, da Tallin al Giappone e naturalmente l’Italia. L’arte di Margherita è una poesia di straordinaria bellezza che trasmette, in chi la osserva e ne conosce la storia, la consapevolezza di quanto sia davvero infinito e maestoso il potenziale che possiamo manifestare.Tattooed female bodies that tell their own story through symbols.
